This is what happens when an inside joke turns into a series, and after 9 years of games and fangames, someone decides to take the "FNaS UCN" concept, and turn it on it's head.
Welcome to Five Nights at Sonic's: Special Stages! The (not so) biggest mashup all of your favourite Five Nights at Sonic's characters!
Featuring all of your favourite characters from the Five Nights at Sonic's series, each with their own fresh coat of paint, and even more!
Kick up the characters' speed up to a maximum of 50, take on challenges of various varieties, earn awards by completing challenges to unlock props in your office, or even just mess around with whatever you want! It's your special stage, after all!
Please keep in mind that this game isn't official, nor is it supposed to be a replacement for Maniac Mania! It also contains characters from non-official FNaS games and also completely new characters not featured in the original FNaS series too! Thank you for reading!
So, what makes this game unique from the MILLION other FNaS UCN / Maniac Mania games?
Every single character featured in this game has had a complete makeover to make them stand out much more than their original designs!
COMPLETELY new and unique characters take centre stage alongside some returning characters too!
A whole new story to tell within the confines of this totally-not-haunted Arcade Machine!
Brand new challenger skins to unlock during gameplay, and some skins returning from previous games too!
A brand new map that combines aspects from every single game across the series to make this as faithful of an ultimate night as possible!
A whole bunch of other stuff to potentially come in the future!
So, is this game Maniac Mania or not?
While it did initially start out as a Maniac Mania recreation, nope! While this game may take various mechanics, ideas or UI inspirations from the original source material, this game will attempt to be as different to Maniac Mania as possible, without losing the charm of the original game!
Why do the characters look so different?
Simple, I felt this game would stand out a little more on it's own two legs by giving nearly each character a fresh coat of paint. Whether it be new props, new details or even completely new designs, they're still very much the same clones and robots you know and love! (Maybe!)
